ācārya- Ācārya!; paśya- behold; etām- this; mahatīṃ- mighty; pāṇḍuputrāṇām camūm- Pāṇḍava military force; vyūḍhāṃ- their army arranged in the expertly conceived formation; tava śiṣyeṇa- by your disciple; dhīmatā- the highly intellectual; drupada putreṇa- Dhṛṣṭadyumna, the prince of Pāncāla (Drupada's son);

Purport

In the following eight ślokas, Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra what Duryodhana spoke to ācārya Droṇa in Duryodhana's own words."O my teacher! Behold the mighty army of the sons of Pāṇḍu, so expertly arranged by Drupada's son, your intelligent disciple."

pāṇḍuputrāṇām ācārya Though the Kauravas and the Pāṇḍavas were both Droṇācārya's disciples, he always showed special liking for the Pāṇḍavas, especially Arjuna. With the words 'pāṇḍuputrāṇām ācārya', Duryodhana reminded Droṇa about this in a taunting way.

tava śiṣyeṇa (your disciple) With the words 'tava śiṣyeṇa', Duryodhana meant to sarcastically say, 'O Ācārya! It is such an irony that the archer who learnt dhanur vidya (archery) from you is now facing you in battle'. Duryodhana was venting out his frustration that even though Droṇa knew that the purpose of Dhṛṣṭadyumna's life was to kill him, he still magnanimously accepted him as his disciple and trained him.

dhīmatā By glorifying Dhṛṣṭadyumna in this way, Duryodhana taunted Droṇa that, 'The one who gained knowledge and expertise in warfare from you is now going to use the same skills on you.'

drupada putreṇa 'O Ācārya, Dhṛṣṭadyumna is the one manifested by Drupada with the sole purpose of killing you.' Duryodhana pointed this out by addressing Dhṛṣṭadyumna as 'drupada putra'.

vyūḍhāṃ mahatīṃ camūṃ paśya Duryodhana said to ācārya Droṇa, 'Behold the sight of the army expertly arranged in a strategically planned formation by Dhṛṣṭadyumna who is the commander-in-chief of the Pāṇḍava army'.

These words spoken by Duryodhana to ācārya Droṇa bring out the fear and anxiety he was experiencing.
